A.R. Rahman turns 44 today. With a stupendous journey in the world of music, the youngest achiever keeps striding with successful colors. Rahman has the habit of singing 'Puthiya Vaanam Puthiya Bhoomi' (Tamil Superstar MGR's song) after completing his every project. Rahman prefers to spend his birthday in simplicity as he doesn't throw any parties. The musician will visit mosques by early morning followed by orphanages or old age homes. There aren't special cuisines for A.R. Rahman and he loves munching anything whenever he feels hungry. Rahman's wife Saira Bhanu is his best costume designer as she selects dresses for his programmes. While having cup of coffee, he makes sure of adding ¼ cup of sugar for his taste. It's a special surprise for the ones having cup of coffee with him. Whenever he is free, A.R. Rahman loves playing video games with his daughters Khatija, Rahima and son Ameen. The legend has no interests towards jewels as he doesn't prefer wearing even a watch. All that we can spot sometimes is a thin platinum ring on his finger. Rahman loves being alone or with his family. You can never spot him outside in any public gatherings or places. Rahman shares an unconditional bonding with his sisters Rehana, Fatima and Israth. In fact he was once an atheist, who converted to Islam faith for the well being of his sisters. Rahman couldn't continue his studies after 9th Standard due to family problems.
