The hype of "3" is unending. The film's dubbed version has released in Andhra Pradesh with 700 prints, a record for a dubbed film and almost matches with prints of movies of top Telugu film stars.

Coinciding with the release of Tamil version nationally, the Telugu version of the Dhanush-Shruti Haasan starrer generated huge interest in the State as elsewhere after the stupendous success of the song 'Kolaveri'.

This is one of the biggest opening for a dubbed film in the Telugu film industry.
