Already reported earlier, Bollywood babe Sonakshi Sinha has signed a Telugu film opposite South superstar Mahesh Babu (read news).

Now it is heard that the actress has charged 5 crores for the film that will be directed by filmmaker Radhakrishna Jagarlamudi.

The director began writing the script around three years back, but since Sonakshi was not interested in doing South films then, she didn't pay much attention to it.

Apparently, this happens to be a period film, hence Sonakshi heard the script and immediately gave her consent.
