9 Eleven Is A Fast-Paced Thriller With An Undertone Of Terrorism

27th December 2010

December 27, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Young filmmaker Manan Singh Katohora, who shot to fame with the films like Arya (2003) and When Kiran Met Karen (2008), is coming up with new offering titled 9 Eleven.

However, the filmmaker has made it sure that his movie has nothing to do with the infamous 9/11 attacks. He described his film as a fast-paced thriller that has an undertone of terrorism.

9 Eleven is a typical Bollywood styled movie with Indian Americans actors in the main roles. It also has an item number for typical Bollywood movie buffs. It is supposed to be the first Hindi film, which has been shot entirely in Washington.

The film, which is in the post-production stage now, will release in South Asia and North America in June 2011. The story is set in Mumbai and deals with the lives of 10 people from different backgrounds. Circumstances bring them together in an unknown place and terrorized by an unknown entity.

The film does not boast of big stars but all the actors have acting experiences either in a TV commercial or in an odd play. Nikkitasha Marwaha, the item-girl in the film, is the only one with an experience of participating in Zee TVs reality show Dance India Dance.

Other actors had to polish their Hindi accent that had American touch earlier. However, they have brushed it up after several rehearsals.

We hope the Indian audience appreciate this movie made totally in the US.
