It was recently confirmed that Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan was all set to release the first teaser of his highly anticipated film 'PK', with his arch rival superstar Shah Rukh Khan's film 'Happy New Year' that was slated to release on the eve of Diwali.

Though Aamir's film releases on the eve of Christmas, he wanted to cash on the festive occasion of Diwali to kick start the promotions of his film. Aamir has had a great success record of his films releasing on Christmas.

From 'Taare Zameen Par', 'Ghajini' to '3 Idiots' all of them came out during Christmas with their trailers being launched on Diwali which is Shah Rukh's favourite slot for his film's release.

Aamir confesses that SRK's popularity is definitely a huge plus for his film's popularity too. "Shah Rukh's popularity benefits me. By attaching my film's trailer with his film, my film definitely stands to gain," he added.
