September 6, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan says it is very difficult to remake a film from its original version and retain the original emotion of the movie. The actor is well known for his power packed performances and he has decimated all opposition with his string of hits. The actor said that original films are made with such emotion that you cannot simply remake them and get the same feeling out of it.
The 45-year-old actor said that when he compares the original movies with a remake, he can sense the lack of emotional commitment. According to this thinking actor, a remake can never be at-par with the original so it is doomed from the beginning.
The actor got candid with reporters at the PVR Phoenix Mill, where he was attending the screening of the movie 'Teesri Manzil' by Shammi Kapoor. The actor said that he ever goes ahead with a remake he will do that simply to re-live the moments of a film.
The actor maintains that everyone has their own reasons for remaking film, for Aamir the reason would be the plot, characters and the moments of the film that excite him. Aamir thinks that making a remake is like paying tribute to the original.
