The war between Yash Raj Films (YRF) and Ajay Devgn Ffilms (ADF) is hardly over, and a new war has risen between the filmmakers of 'Talaash' and 'Khiladi 786'.
It is heard that producers Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar have asked single screen exhibitors to allow a two-week run for their upcoming film that releases on November 30. This in turn will affect Akshay Kumar's 'Khiladi 786' that hits the theatres a week later, that is on December 7.
According to trade sources, exhibitors are very upset with this constant war between filmmakers which is now becoming a trend.
Most of them say that this shouldn't affect any movies as audiences will watch what they like. Besides, It would be very difficult to reject an Aamir Khan film as everyone wants to see him on big screens.
In the meanwhile, YRF's 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' and ADF's 'Son of Sardaar' are all set to release next week.
Let us hope all goes well for both filmmakers.
