Aascar Films deny rumors on Billa 2

1st May 2012

Aascar V. Ravichandran of Aascar Films has denied a report appeared in an English daily which claimed that he acquired the theatrical rights of Billa 2 only because of Sun Pictures' former chief operating officer Hansraj Saxena.

"No one is involved in this deal other than me. It is a mindless report which was published without verifying facts. In my three decades old career in cinema, I had no hidden or open partnerships with anyone," said the ace producer.

"There was no political or any kind of backup for me till this minute and all the money I have was hard earned by me. So it is unfair to write something without even checking what has really happened," he said.

Ravichandran also denied the rumor that Saxena joined his company as chief executive officer. "I am clueless from where such gossips crop up. There is absolutely no truth in it," he adds.
