With Mayakkam Enna ready to hit the screens, director Selvaraghavan is all set for his next venture. He is looking forward to making a sequel on his historical fantasy epic Aayirathil Oruvan.

Selvaraghavan wrote on his microblogging page, "Aayirathil Oruvan Part 2 script is ready. Had some time to fine tune it for the last two days. Hope to make it soon." This declaration has triggered the expectations of the audience.

Aayirathil Oruvan, the Karthi Sivakumar, Reema Sen, Andrea Jeremiah starrer was released for Pongal 2010 and it created waves at the box-office. The film was later dubbed and released in Telugu as Yuganiki Okadu and became a hit there a well.

The director was appreciated for his daring vision. It ended on an open note making room for a sequel. Now that Selvaraghavan has confirmed the sequel, looks like big surprises are in store!
