Seems like the Hindi version of the Tamil flick 'Vettai' is back on track. The movie starring R. Madhavan and Arya was a sensational hit throughout the South and hence it was decided to be made in Hindi.

When Shahid Kapoor, who was suppose to star opposite Madhavan in the Bollywood version, dropped out of the project, the team got into a soup. They did think about casting Ali Zafar as Shahid's replacement, but that wasn't decided too, putting the movie on hold for a long time.

But now according to sources, N. Linguswamy has been replaced by directors Abbas-Mustan, and Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham will be roped in to play the lead roles.

Though the sequel is undecided and the leads are yet to be confirmed, it is heard that the film might go on floors in 2013.
