Recently, actor Abhishek Bachchan bagged the BIG Star Entertainment Award for 'Best Actor in a Comic Role' for his performance in the film 'Bol Bachchan'. And yet again he received another one in the same category at the Zee Cine Award, an honor that was bestowed by the biggest viewer's choice awards platform in the country.
Writing on his microblogging page he said, "Just won Best Actor- Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!!!! :-)))))). Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. ALL the actors and technicians and AD’s. I share this award with them. And especially Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty. For their trust, faith and guidance. Would not have been possible without them."
If that wasn't all, the actor also went on to win the 'Best Actor in a Comic Role' at the 19th Annual Screen Awards, achieving a hat-trick this year.
On the occasion Abhishek said, "Thank you all for the wishes for winning the ZEE CINE Award. Thank you all for the wishes for winning the Screen Award for best actor in a comic role. Thank you ROHIT and Ajay Devgn, Prachi Desai, Asin. And the entire team who worked on the film. I dedicate this award to all of you who worked so hard on the film."
Seems like the comedy genre sure works well for the actor.
