(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Adam Levine has put rumours of his sexuality to rest by declaring that he is not gay.
The Maroon 5 singer says he is so comfortable with who he is that he can openly say he thinks another man is good looking.
The 32-year-old mentor on TV show The Voice revealed all in the September issue of OUT magazine.
"I'm extremely comfortable in my sexuality, so I can think, Oh that's a good-looking dude,'" he explained.
"Acknowledging that someone's attractive and wanting to f**k a dude are two different things.
"There's no way to hide my straightness but if people didn't think there was a small chance I was gay, then I wouldn't be doing my job very well.
"Look at the best ones, guys whose sexuality was always questioned. Bowie, Jagger, Freddie Mercury. I wouldn't be the front man of a band if that question hadn't come up at some point."
The golden-voiced heartthrob is rumoured to have dated Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton and Kirsten Dunst.
But he says although he is not a homosexual his brother is, and it was never a problem for their family growing up.
"I can single-handedly dispel any ideas that sexuality is acquired," Adam laughed. "Trust me, you're born with it. My brother is gay, and we knew when he was two. We all knew."
Adam is currently in a relationship with Victoria's Secret model Anne Vyalitsyna. (C) Cover Media
