December 20, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Television actor Aditya Redij had to take up housekeeping duties in the recent past in order to keep himself in clean and hygienic surroundings. No, the actor did not have to clean the sets of his television serial, but had to sweep the floors of his home! In a statement to the media Aditya Redij describes his harrowing experience with housework. The actor says that one fine day upon entering his home after a long days work, he saw that the floors of his kitchen and living room in Mumbai were flooded with water. Therefore he had no other option but to get down to sweeping in the late hours of the night.

The actor who has till now been seen in only tough roles onscreen, was reduced to a mere homemaker in real life. Aditya Redij remembers how he had to spend close to three hours to mop away the accumulated water in his drawing room and kitchen. Well did he succeed in the task? Of course, says the actor who worked hard dressed in shorts to finally drain away the water from his house. However till date Aditya Redij does not know the source of the water that had flooded his home!

The actor, while speaking to the media, says that he was so tired after three hours of sweeping that he fell asleep in his wet clothes! The tough Raghav of Na Aana Iss Des Laado got a taste of what lives women, especially homemakers in India have to lead everyday! So do we see him next as a very homely guy onscreen? Well have to wait and watch.
