Dhanush is receiving rave reviews for his performance in 'Raanjhanaa', and many even say that he has overshadowed his co-stars with his soul-moving act in the movie. It is yet to be seen if Dhanush is truly committed to Bollywood or the project was just a one-off gig for the South actor. But one South superstar is already showing his long-term association with Bollywood and that too even prior to his debut Hindi movie release.
Based on insiders, Ram Charan, who is part of the 'Zanjeer' remake, which will feature Priyanka Chopra opposite the South actor, has bought a swanky house in the Khar suburb in Mumbai. And the news is that the place came with an exorbitant price tag of 12 crores.
There are also rumors that Ram will make this 4,000 square-feet plush unit his new base. Ram, who would be seen with Sanjay Dutt in his Bollywood debut, became close friends with the actor during the movie shoot, and it was Sanjay and close friend Salman Khan, who guided Ram with his house-hunting project.
Ram was so impressed with the unit when he saw it for the first time, that based on sources close to the actor, he called his wife and asked her to fly to Mumbai to check out the place; and it was only after the couple's mutual approval, that the actor opted to sign on the dotted line.
Ram Charan will of course continue to work in South films, and will be juggling between Hyderabad and Mumbai for his movie commitments.
