Saif Ali Khan’s ambitious film 'Agent Vinod' was recently presented before the censor board to get the clearance certificate for its release on 23rd March. The film that is touted to be a spy thriller and is considered to be the desi-bond film has a lot of action and high end stunts to which the censor board often raises objection.
Saif Ali Khan, who has produced and lead the film with panache feared that the stunts might come under the censor's hammer. On the other side he was also confident that they will be given a clean chit as they have played really safe with every move.
Saif’s instincts proved quite true when the film got a 'U/A' certificate from the censor and has been cleared to be screened on the aforementioned date.
Saif exclaimed that he is extremely happy with the development, "Our film has a lot of action and stunts but we worked really hard to keep its less violent and realistic. And now that we have got a U/A certificate I am more than happy for its release".
