Internationally renowned Indian actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had taken a sabbatical from films due to motherhood, is all set to make a comeback in the near future. She had taken a break due to her pregnancy and post maternity. Refusing to get back to films within few months, Ash nurtured her kid dedicatedly for a year without diverting her attention to films.

Now that Aaradhya too has turned a year older, Aishwarya is preparing to get back to films. She was recently seen at a promotional event for a leading jewellery brand. Ash confessed that she is currently reading a few scripts and shall begin work soon. "I am already listening to scripts and the moment I feel I have zeroed in on the right one, we will start filming. However, I find the term 'comeback' really fascinating! I became a mother and wasn't it natural that I would take a break from work?" stated Aishwarya.

However, she is content with her life and journey so far. "In life, change is the only constant thing. I have been through different phases too, like marriage, motherhood and so on. With every new experience, there is growth and discovery. I feel blessed for the life that I lead, to have such fantastic parents, husband and in-laws. It's humbling that the people of this country have showered all of us with such love and warmth," added Aishwarya.
