Nagraj Manjule all set to return to TV

4th March 2019

Blockbuster Marathi movie 'Sairat' gave filmmaker Nagraj Manjule overnight recognition for his work on celluloid. Enrouting himself to the small screen now, he will be seen hosting the Marathi version of a huge hit quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' titled 'Kon Honar Karodpati' for the Marathi speaking audience. Promo shared by the lead GEC Sony Marathi features the filmmaker himself, just smiling at the audience as he enters the sets with the promo showcasing more details of the show.

Coincidentally, the filmmaker just wrapped up the shooting of 'Jhund' featuring Amitabh Bachchan, who has hosted the Hindi version of the show for almost 10 seasons. Nagraj will host the third season of this quiz, whereas first and second season were hosted by actor Sachin Khedekar and Swwapnil Joshi respectively.

Sharing the promo on his Twitter handle, Nagraj wrote, "कोण होणार करोडपती..!?" tagging the official Twitter handle of the GEC. Meanwhile, Sony Marathi Twitter handle too confirmed the same by tweeting, "येत आहे कोण होणार करोडपती #KonHonaarCrorepati #SonyMarathi"

Nagraj Manjule will make his Bollywood debut as a director with 'Jhund' set to release in Sept. 2019.
