Billa 2, which deals about the life of an ordinary man called David before he became the dreaded don Billa, also deals with some other things too, it seems. For, Ajith is playing the role of a Sri Lankan Tamilian in this film, it is said.

'The Thala plays a Tamilian from the island nation, who comes to Tuticorin when he was a boy, as his family gets affected by the ethnic war. How he transforms himself into an international don is what Billa 2 is all about,' say sources.

They maintain the movie could hit the screens only during the middle of May, as its post- production works got delayed due to the recently ended strike in Kollywood. 'Works are on in a full swing to meet the deadline,' sources claim.

Directed by Chakri Toleti of Unnaipol Oruvan fame, Billa 2, has Parvathy Omanakuttan opposite Ajith. Music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. A single song from the movie is expected to be released soon, which will be followed by complete audio launch.
