A lot of charges and counter charges are being made on the disruption to the shooting of Karthi Sivakumar's forthcoming film Alex Pandian, allegely by the members of Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI).
While circles close to producer K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green allege that the FEFSI members posed a hurdle to the shooting, which was going on near Palavaram in Chennai, demanding that director Ameer should be paid royalty for the Telugu dubbed version of Paruthiveeran, the Mounam Pesiyathey and Ram director has denied it.
'I have no connection to the disturbance caused to the shooting of Alex Pandian. This is an attempt to spoil my image and to prevent me from taking part in the wage revision talks between FEFSI and Producers,' he said.
Alex Pandian, a film starring Karthi Sivakumar, Santhanam and Anushka in lead roles, is being directed Suraj. After its shooting was stopped, the Producers Council was informed and its office bearers rushed to the spot to hold talks.
