It turned to be a never-ending string of questions put forth by the fans of Thala Ajith Kumar on whether or not the film 'Billa 2'' is dropped? Perhaps, it was mentioned that the project will be shelved as Ajith Kumar has shown keen interest over the script narrated by Jeyam Ravi. Close sources reveal that the shooting of 'Billa 2' will start from next month. Earlier plans were to kick start the project 'Billa 2' by April but it was delayed, as Venkat Prabhu prolonged the shooting of 'Mankatha'.

Since this is Ajith Kumar's fiftieth film, the makers are taking painstaking efforts to ensure outcome is stupendous. 'Mankatha' is a multi-starrer film with Ajith Kumar, Arjun, Andrea, Trisha, Lakshmi Rai, Premji Amaran, Vaibhav and many others. Yuvan Shankar Raja has completed working on the tracks and the audio launch of the single track album will probably be launched this week.
