Actress Vidya Balan and producer of the film, 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani', Mahesh Bhatt were present in Lucknow recently for a special screening of the film where Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Akhilesh Yadav was also present.

Akhilesh is struck in the 'emotions' that director, Mohit Suri tried to convey in the film. Mahesh Bhatt said, "The response to Hamari Adhuri Kahani has been outstanding. The film is dedicating to all the women of the country and they have received and loved the film with open arms. That is our victory."

The film was released on June 12 and has minted almost Rs. 20 crore till date.
