South filmmaker A. R Murugadoss' much talked about movie in Bolyywood is the remake of the South thriller 'Thuppakki'. Interesting, it happens to be every Bollywood actresses dream to star opposite Akshay Kumar who plays the lead.

Initially Parineeti Chopra, the actress who made an oustanding debut in the film 'Ishaqzaade' was roped in (read news). But apparently, that has changed as Akki has chosen his favourite co-star Sonakshi Sinha once again in the film.

It goes without saying that Sonakshi Sinha and Akki sure make a very good pair in the movies that they have starred in.

When the actress was being confirmed for the film, Sonakshi was upset that Akshay didn't recommend her name after she has been a loyal co-star and a very good friend to the latter in helping the actor with the movie promotions. This didn't go down well with Sonaskshi, who retreated hurt.

It was then, that Akki and Sonakshi watched the South film together and decided that the latter would play the lead.

The movie is touted to go on floors soon. Akki will be seen playing an army officer in the film.
