We have heard Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar croon before in his film 'Special 26'. But this time, he challenged himself to record a song live before the media for his upcoming film 'Entertainment'.
Akshay recorded the song at a suburban studio as part of the promotions for his upcoming film. Titled 'Entertainment', the song has been composed by Chirantan Bhatt.
The song is especially made for the film's promotions and hence it won't feature in the film.
While recording the same, Akki asked the mediapersons to not laugh at him. "Aap log hasiye mat," said Akshay in his signature style.
When quizzed how the idea came to their mind, he confessed that it was just an impromptu plan.
"We were jamming one day and thought of this song. I was a little nervous about singing but it was fun. The track can make do with a raw voice. Anyone can sing it. Iss mein sirf chillana hi hai. I have not done some kamaal," he added.
Produced by Ramesh Taurani, the film is directed by writer duo Sajid-Farhad. Starring Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia, it is slated to release on August 8.
