Akshay Kumar's 100 crore blockbuster 'Rowdy Rathore' directed by Prabhu Deva was a remake of a South Indian flick. Likewise, Sajid Khan's 'Housefull 2' that was also a blockbuster and collected 100-crore at the box office, was a remake of a South Indian film.

With this, Akshay Kumar's inclination towards the South Indian film industry is quite evident and recently it was also reported that he might soon enter the market and produce a regional film.

Akki states that he respects all kinds of cinema including regional. He added that his team has already done two films in Marathi and is working on a Punjabi film.

However, entering the South Indian film industry will still have to wait. The industry is definitely a big market and we hear that a remake of his film 'OMG - Oh My God' is being made down South.

But according to Akshay that might take some time.
