Akshay Kumar has been in the Bollywood film industry for over 20 years. Known to be one of the best action heroes, Akki has come a long way.

While most of the stars think it is because of their hardword that they have achieved so much, for Akki it's different. Besides his own skills and talents, Akshay thanks his fans for being there and always supporting him.

Hence, to make his fans feel special, the actor has approached them to suggest a title for his upcoming film which is a remake of the South hit 'Thuppakki'.

As he has started shooting for the film, an excited Akshay wrote on his microblogging page, "Started shooting my first film in the New Year, the Hindi remake of Thuppakki! Would love to get your good wishes today."

He further added, "Thanks guys for all your good wishes & enthusiasm for the film. Needed a suggestion from you all. What should we call the Hindi remake of Thuppakki? For those who don't know, Thuppakki means a gun in Tamil and is an action thriller."

The remake of the film will be directed by South filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss himself and Sonakshi Sinha, one of Akki's favorite co-star will play the female lead.
