(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Alec Baldwin is reportedly close to proposing to his girlfriend.

The 53-year-old actor was first linked to Hilaria Thomas, 27, in May. The romance is now said to be heating up, with Alec adamant they are destined to be together for the rest of their lives.

"He's really in love," a source told New York Post. "He's even met her parents. He sees marriage in the near future."

Hilaria is a New York University graduate who works as a yoga studio director.

Things have got so serious Alec is understood to have sold his beloved apartment and moved in with his girlfriend. His home was in 300 Central Park West, New York, and Alec previously spoke of his love for the area.

He explained it was the perfect place for him to live because it wasn't "a little kind of jewel-box, privileged pocket of the city like some neighbourhoods are". The apartment was on the market for $9.5 million.

Alec has since bought a new property in SoHo, where Hilaria is said to be happier living.

The pair also appear to be wearing promise rings, with Hilaria spotted boasting a platinum band with a large diamond. They attended a charity softball match recently and she told a fellow guest she is "seeing how things go" when quizzed about a possible engagement. (C) Cover Media
