Alec Baldwin is said to be "really happy" with fiance Hilaria Thomas.

The 54-year-old actor proposed to the yoga instructor, 28, recently and friends of the 30 Rock star say he is thrilled to have found such a down to earth woman.

Although Alec has made a great living from his career, Hilaria is apparently still going about her day to day life and doesn't want to be affected by his luxury lifestyle.

"She makes him so happy," a source close to the couple told People magazine. "She's a great person. Her smile is contagious. She makes everybody feel welcome and warm whenever she is around."

"She's still teaching [yoga] classes the day after the news that she was engaged, she was out teaching a class. She's very real. She's not a showbiz type at all. She's humble."

Alec's loved ones have also noticed a change in the Hollywood star, who was once married to Kim Basinger, since he started dating Hilaria.

"He's just really happy," the insider gushed. "They light up the room whenever they are together."
