The 27-year-old TV-personality-and-model is well known for her chic brunette bob, which compliments her tomboy aesthetic perfectly.

The gorgeous star admits she sometimes longs for more flowing tresses though, and cites US actress Ali MacGraw, 72 who was a major style icon in the 70s as one of her hair idols.

Id like to look like Ali MacGraw, but I look sh*t with long hair, she told the British edition of Vogue.

Alexa cringed as she recalled seeing a snapshot of herself from last year when her bob had grown out a little and had been bleached by the sun. She even compared herself to 64-year-old male British naturalist Terry Nutkins.

I saw a picture of myself at a Mulberry event last year in LA. I had a really deep tan and long, slightly blonde hair. And I just wondered, who are you? Terry Nutkins? she laughed. (C) Cover Media
