The 37-year-old actress is adamant she will never prioritise fashion over comfort when it comes to her favourite outfits, and dresses exactly as she wants.

The sparkly-eyed brunette was recently criticised for how she looked in a Marc Jacobs top, but refused to let the rude comments get to her. Alyssa claims she cant afford professional advice on what to wear, so just puts on what makes her feel happy.

I love my Marc Jacobs top. Sorry you didn't. Can't afford a stylist. I wear what I feel good in, she announced on her Twitter page.

Alyssa who is famed for her eight-year stint as Phoebe Halliwell on American drama Charmed is more interested in using fashion to help people. She recently joined other celebrities in wearing purple in celebration of Spirit Day 2010, which brings awareness to the bullying suffered by gay, lesbian and bisexual teenagers.
