Amala Paul has opted out of an upcoming film starring Ravi Teja in the lead, which has been titled 'Sir Osthara'. The movie is being helmed by Parasuram.

Sources close to the unit say that the actress expressed her inability to be part of the film, since she could not allot the dates required by Parasuram. 'Since the director understood her situation, Amala walked out of the film in a smooth manner,' sources say.

The actress, who is a hot property in Tollywood after the success of Siddharth starrer 'Love Failure', is currently acting opposite Ram Charan in a yet to be titled movie. She is also doing a Telugu-Tamil bilingual helmed by Samuthirakani, which has Jayam Ravi in the lead.

'Amala Paul was eager to work with Ravi Teja. But she could not do so because of her other commitments. She is hopeful that she could have an opportunity again to share the screen space with the actor,' add sources.
