(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amy Winehouse has taken up ballet to get in shape for her comeback.
The troubled British singer is believed to have hired a private tutor and is taking lessons at her home in London. She is keen to improve her flexibility and fitness and was advised dance would be the perfect way to tone up. The star is thoroughly enjoying the lessons so far and can already see a change in her body.
"Amy has started ballet lessons at home and she's really enjoying them. She wants to get fit, tone up and become more supple without getting too muscly, a source told British newspaper The Sun. "She really likes kick-boxing too, but she loves the glamour of ballet. She wants to be fit and look good ready for her comeback at the end of the year."
Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of Amys new album, which will be the follow-up to her 2006 hit Back to Black. It was previously reported the record would be released at the start of 2011 after Amy who has been plagued by drug problems - spent time working on the tracks in St. Lucia in 2009.
Amy has shown signs she is confident with her new material after she performed a series of live shows in Brazil last month.
The 27-year-old singer wants to look and sound great when she makes her fresh assault on the music charts and has splashed out on state-of-the-art exercise equipment so she can work out home.
