2nd June 2011

(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Amy Winehouse is "raring to go" after checking out of rehab.

The 27-year-old British singer checked into London's The Priory clinic last week, with her representative explaining she had "embarked on a treatment programme" to ensure she was ready for performances in Europe this summer and wanted to seek a doctor's assessment.

The star has now checked out of the clinic so that she can concentrate on tour commitments she has later this month. She will continue to be seen as an outpatient.

"Amy Winehouse has completed her assessment at the Priory clinic in London and will continue as an outpatient," said her spokesperson.

"She is now looking forward to playing shows around Europe this summer and is raring to go."

The songstress is due to perform in Belgrade, Serbia on June 18. She has thanked her fans for all their support and cannot wait to get on stage.

"She would like to send a huge thanks to all her fans for the messages of support she has received over the last week and can't wait to see them," added the spokesperson.

The singer famously battled with alcohol and drugs in the past, and stayed The Priory on occasions between 2007 and 2009. (C) Cover Media
