(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Andrew Garfield has decided he's still young enough to climb everywhere.
The 28-year-old actor has loved leaping on furniture since he was a child. Whenever he is going somewhere he climbs on unusual surfaces. He claims this makes him the perfect choice to play Spider-Man in the upcoming movie.
"I climb around sofas, up doorframes, in and under my bed, outside windows, on drainpipes," he laughed. "It's kind of embarrassing for the people around me, because I should be too old for it, but it turns out I'm not. And I haven't sustained any major injuries either, just a few minor ones. I reckon I still have a few years of climbing in me."
Andrew thinks his love of climbing stems from his enthusiasm for sports when he was younger. He only gave them up when he started focusing on acting.
"I was a sports person before that a gymnast, swimmer and rugby player but then I stopped growing so I had to quit because I kept getting beaten up!" he laughed to British magazine Company. (C) Cover Media
