(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Andrew Garfield thinks he is not the typical movie star as nothing interesting ever happens to him.
The 27-year-old is best known for his role in 2010 film The Social Network where his portrayal of Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin was roundly praised. For his next film Andrew plays a man at the centre of a love triangle in Never Let Me Go, and next year will signal Andrews attempt to take over from Tobey Maguire as superhero Spider-Man.
Although aware that these high profile roles will attract large media attention, Andrew remains adamant the increased attention will not affect him.
Theres nothing interesting about my life. Like, Im not stumbling out of clubs at four in the morning, you know? So theres absolutely no reason for that to happen, he told British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.
Although taking fame in his stride, Andrew is well aware of the pressure surrounding his foray into the comic book territory. The understated star believes he feels the most pressure from himself as he tries to do justice to a role he has long admired.
I feel the pressure of my own inner four-year-old and thats the biggest pressure I could ever come up against. I dont need anyone else to tell me what a big deal it is because Im Spider-Mans biggest fan, he added. (C) Cover Media
