(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Angelina Jolie says her mother died knowing that "everything was going to be all right" because she had met two of her grandchildren.

In an emotional interview with Marie Claire magazine, the Hollywood actress spoke about her beloved mom Marcheline Bertrand who passed away in January 2007 after a battle with ovarian cancer.

Before Marcheline lost her fight with the disease, Angelina had brought home her adopted baby daughter Zahara from Ethiopia in 2005 and she had already met Maddox who Angelina adopted in 2002.

The Hollywood star revealed that her mother fought through the pain of her chemotherapy so she could spend time with the two children. Angelina believes she died knowing her daughter had turned her life around and was building a family of her own.

"I don't want to get emotional," Angelina shared. "I wish she were here. I am never going to stop missing her. My mom was born to be a grandmother; she would have just loved it.

"She did meet some of my children, and she was fantastic. Maddox still remembers everything about her As soon as Mad came home, I think she knew that everything was going to be all right."

Angelina went on to have four more children with partner Brad Pitt; adopted son Pax, seven, and biological children Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne. (C) Cover Media
