(Cover) - -No story type selected- - Jennifer Aniston has reportedly introduced her boyfriend Justin Theroux to her actor father John Aniston.

The 42-year-old star has taken the next step in her budding relationship with Justin, arranging for him to meet the other important man in her life.

Life & Style are reporting that meeting happened at Delmonico's Steak and Lobster House in Los Angeles in early July.

A source told the publication that the actress was visibly nervous as they sat in a discreet corner booth of the restaurant.

"Jen's a regular here and normally very relaxed," the onlooker said.

"This time she seemed more on edge. She was smiling a lot, but you could tell this was a special event for her."

The trio apparently enjoyed a long lunch and shared lobster bisque, Manhattan clam chowder, a crab dish and a four-pound lobster.

"John looked very protective of Jen, and when Justin went to the restroom, he put his hand on top of hers," the eyewitness said. "It was sweet."

Jennifer has long been close with her father and is said to value his approval but the actress has had a challenging relationship with her mother Nancy who wrote a tell-all book about their relationship. (C) Cover Media
