(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Denise Richards has debuted her new baby daughter Eloise Joni and says the little girl has "brought so much joy".

The 40-year-old actress announced she had adopted the now five-week-old baby at the end of last month. The tot joins Denise's two daughters from her marriage to Charlie Sheen, Sam, seven, and Lola, six.

Denise poses with her bundle of joy in the new issue of Us Weekly and talked about how the new addition to her family has enhanced her life.

"She's brought so much joy, and I love her to pieces," Denise gushes.

"She's a cuddle bug. She loves being hugged and held. She's such a beautiful little baby and little soul."

Denise shared that Eloise has "been with her since the day she was born" but admits the adoption process was not easier for her because she is well known.

"Some people think if a celebrity wants a baby, they get one the next day. The adoption took two years, and there were times I felt discouraged, times when I got close to adopting a baby and it fell through. But I knew the right baby would find us," the star said.

Denise also disclosed that she is on friendly terms with her ex-husband Charlie and they "talk every day".

She said that Charlie has even spent time with the new baby and "knows how much I love, love kids, so he was very supportive".

"Charlie is truly very happy for me. He knows I always wanted more kids." (C) Cover Media
