(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anne Hathaway has opened up about her relationship with new love, actor Adam Shulman.
The 28-year-old actress had a tumultuous romance with Raffaello Follieri which ended three years amid a fraud scandal which saw him be sent to jail.
Anne has gushed about her new love and how she is enjoying being in a more low key relationship in the new issue of U.S. magazine Harper's Bazaar.
"So far, it's worked out great," the Devil Wears Prada star stated.
She added that she used to be addicted to more intense romantic relationships.
"Which has its wonderful side, of course," she explained, "but also it was exhausting and sometimes it would freak me out.
"Mellow doesn't always make for a good story, but it makes for a good life."
In October 2008, Raffaello pled guilty to posing as a real estate consultant for the Vatican, a role in which he conned millions of dollars from investors in an illegal scheme.
Anne has put the difficult time behind her now and is focussing on other things. She hosted this year's Oscars alongside James Franco, although not everyone enjoyed the show. The star remains upbeat about the experience and manages to see the funny side to the criticism.
James called Anne a "Tasmanian devil" to which she retorted with wry humour.
"I let James know that a whirling dervish is a more flattering comparison than a Tasmanian devil. I called him, and we e-mailed a bit," she explained.
"In the grand scheme of things, I got to have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
"I met great people, wore beautiful clothes. And I got to put on a show. I don't see a downside. Anyone who disliked my personality probably disliked my personality before the Oscars." (C) Cover Media
