Actress Mamta Kulkarni is one of the most controversial stars of Bollywood.

The yesteryear actress was caught along with husband Vicky Goswami in a drug trafficking case in Kenya. They were caught in Nyali, Mombasa with two Kenyan and an Indian national.

Hamisa Massa, head of the investigating team said, "Suspects are liable to charges of conspiracy to traffic narcotic drugs in the US and Kenya and if found guilty, will attract severe penalties."

Post her marriage to Vicky, also known as a drug lord in Middle East; she distanced herself from the glamour world.

Goswami was sentenced to jail for 25 years, in a drug trafficking case in 1997. However, due to his good conduct he was released after 15 years. Later the two started a real estate and hotel business in Nairobi.
