(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Anne Hathaway hates to behave like a needy actor.

The 28-year-old actress is considered one of Hollywoods brightest young talents, having received critical acclaim for her roles in movies such as The Devil Wears Prada and Rachel Getting Married.

Anne is set to co-host next years Academy Awards with actor James Franco, with many critics saying she deserves an Oscar nod for her portrayal of Parkinsons disease sufferer Maggie in this years romantic drama Love and Other Drugs.

Anne stars in the movie opposite Hollywood heartthrob Jake Gyllenhaal, with Edward Zwick directing. The actress loved working with both men, and admits regretting how reliant she was on Edward in helping her get through traumatic scenes.

Oddly enough I would have these little panics before the close-ups and I would become terrified that I wasnt being truthful enough, and Ed really had to sit with me and hold my hand and be very patient and talk me through it, and I hate being that needy actor, she told Cover Media.

The beautiful actress usually prefers being a little more independent when it comes to making films, although shooting Love and Other Drugs required a large amount of team work. Anne is relieved she was working alongside Edward and Jake, as she considers them to be two of the industrys most talented stars.

I love just showing up in my job and... that wasnt like that. I learned a lot... those are difficult lessons to learn but Im so lucky these are the boys I got to learn that with, she gushed. (C) Cover Media
