Noticed in the short film 'Strangers in the Night'  by Karan Johar and Shakun Batra, Mohit Marwah has already won the hearts of many.

Mohit is actor Arjun Kapoor's cousin and actors Anil Kapoor and Boney Kapoor's nephew.

KJo was quite impressed with the actor's performance in the short film. The filmmaker also met him later at the former's birthday bash last year.

And now it is heard that KJo has signed the young star for 'Student of the Year 2'. As it was confirmed earlier that Karan would be making a sequel to the first part of the film (read news), the plans are very much in the making.

KJo stated he wants to make 'Student of the Year' a franchise where he can introduce newcomers with the film.

Though Mohit didn't make any formal entry in Bollywood, the young lad studied at Theatre School in New York for two years, hence, he does know a little about Bollywood.
