The Northern-Irish actress has starred in a host of British television dramas and comedies and has most recently filmed Albert Nobbs opposite Glenn Close.

The 28-year-old is currently starring in Lotus Eaters, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this month.

Antonia says she admires Glenns ability to transform herself into a broad range of characters across an extensive array of acting platforms.

Glenn is exceptional because shes had quite an interesting life and career. Glenn is an artist. She has done so much theatre, Broadway, films and television. Her career has been up and down and really varied, she told Cover Media.

Antonia has appeared in a number of TV shows, including Spooks, Lead Balloon and Silent Witness. The talented young star says that Glenn told her she was most proud of her television roles throughout her long-standing career, most notably playing Patty Hewes in TV series Damages, which ended last year.

Antonia thinks that Glenn has paved the way for a new film-to-television switch-over that is set to take over Hollywood.

She said that Damages was a role of a lifetime, and it made her career much more secure and solid, she said. As an actor, youre only as good as your last work and nothing is ever set in stone, but I think the future in American television is promising. American film actresses are all trying to move into TV as it seems thats where the security and money is. There are some great things being made.

Lotus Eaters, which is directed by Alexandra McGuiness, follows a group of youngsters from Londons social elite who lead an excessive lifestyle involving lavish parties. The film centres for the most part on the story of Alice, played by Antonia, a struggling model who is distracted and looking for something else amidst her somewhat crazy lifestyle. (C) Cover Media
