Looks like Vidya Balan is on a roll and this is certainly the best phase of her career. As if winning all the coveted awards, including the ‘National Award’ for her performance in the film "The Dirty Picture" wasn’t enough, her latest release "Kahaani’" has already garnered rave reviews and decent collections as well. The film is being highly praised by every critic and audience who has watched it cannot stop praising its high cinematic value and Vidya’s performance of course.

But the latest coming from a filmmaker like Anurag Kashyap, the compliment given by him is certainly the best that she would get from anyone. The "Dev D" director compared Vidya’s on-screen chronics with the perfectionist Aamir Khan. “Vidya is slowly emerging to be a true successor of Aamir Khan-a great career is defined by choices one makes and courage to see it through,” wrote Kashyap on his micro-blogging page.

He even exclaimed about the quality of the film, “'Kahaani' is how a thriller should be shot...the ending is debatable but what an effort,” posted Kashyap in praise of the film.
