In the recent past Anurag Kashyap and Pritish Nandy were at loggerheads over a film's title 'Womaniya' that led to film being shelved for quite a long time. Now the film was finally gone on floors with a new title 'Saand Ki Aankh' featuring Bhumi Pednekar and Taapsee Pannu.

Film is based on Chandro Tomar and her sister-in-law Prakashi Tomar, who began sharpshooting in their fifties.

As the film's title was in a turmoil Taapsee announcing her association with Anurag for her next, tweeted, "Kabhi humaari picture shelve karva dete hai kabhi title ki maara maari, maine socha main Khud hi picture announce kar deti hu through my PERSONAL MEDIANET ab jisko jo ukhaadna hai ukhaad lo ! Kickstarting the shoot of our country’s oldest and coolest shooters #Chandro #Prakashi."

Replying to Taapsee’s tweet, Bhumi wrote, "SHOOTing in full swing! But what’s the name of the movie 🤔@taapsee tujhe toh pata hi hoga. #WhatsTheTitle ?"

Just before arriving to the final title, Anurag slammed Pritish Nandy on Twitter by tweeting, "So we have decided to not pay the extortion sum of 1 crore to @PritishNandy. He can sit on the title and warm it and hope for it to hatch into something worthwhile for his company for once"

He further tweeted, "while we go ahead with what @taapsee @bhumipednekar @tushar1307 @nidhiparmar @RelianceEnt @prakashjha27 @ItsVineetSingh @realshooterdadi @shooterdadi want the film to be ..”SAAND KI AANKH”. I am sorry that i had faith in Mr. Nandy."
