Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' that stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karan Johar, Raveena Tandon and Kay Kay Menon has apparently run over the initially decided budget of 96 Crores.

This one is Kashyap's first film with a celebrated star cast and an enormous budget. Grapevine has it that Ranbir wasn’t happy with few portions of the film and wanted them to be re-shot, however budget constraints led to just some patchwork in those areas.

The film's VFX too are turning out to be pretty expensive and over 130 crores have already been spent on the film. Now, we hear that Fox Star Studios have refused to shell out the final installments of their funding to the film and they only consider paying it when the film breaks even.

Kashyap and Fox's spokesperson have completely dismissed these rumours stating that the final installment has to be made only after the film is delivered so there is no question of FOX releasing payments at the moment.
