Anushka is on cloud nine. Guess why? Because Kamal Haasan, one of the legendary actors of south India, has approached her for his forthcoming film 'Viswaroopam', considered to be his magnum opus for various reasons.

Directed by Kamal Haasan himself, 'Viswaroopam', which has him playing the lead role, has also story, screenplay and dialogues by himself. "Kamal will start shooting for the film from today," reliable sources say.

"Anushka's call-sheet was busy for the next six months when Kamal approached her for the project. However, she made some adjustments to her tight schedule considering the importance of the film," say sources.

A grand set has been erected on the Old Mahabalipuram Road aka Rajiv Gandhi Salai on the outskirts of Chennai, where some important scenes featuring Kamal will be shot today. "Anushka may not join the shoot today. She may join the unit on a later day," they add.
