(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Christina Applegate has confessed that she has found it hard going back to work after having her first baby.
The 39-year-old new mother is starring in a show about a couple who struggles to balance their home and work lives while raising a baby and says it has been "so rough" learning to do just that.
Christina gave birth to Sadie Grace in January and told People magazine that she finds it difficult leaving her to go to work.
"It's a really hard thing to do because you miss them. But I'm doing well," she shared.
The six-month-old girl is her first child with fianc Martyn LeNoble and says regardless of her Hollywood career, her baby is her number one priority.
"Parenthood just changed me in the sense that nothing really matters but [Sadie]," she explained.
"None of it really matters. The importance I placed on things prior to this moment, they don't matter anymore.
"All that matters is I get to go in there in the morning and see her face. She smiles at me and my life is better."
Christina, who made her television debut at three months old, says her daughter will not be allowed to become famous until she is over 18 if that is her career path of choice.
She says she does not believe in monetary exchange for talents under the age of 18. (C) Cover Media
