Arjun Kapoor received rave reviews from the critics and the audiences, for his performance in the film 'Aurangzeb', and now it looks like the actor is closely being considered for 'Mr. India's sequel.

Arjun's father Boney Kapoor is all set to produce the sequel titled 'Mr. India 2'. The original has not only been one of the biggest blockbuster in Bollywood, but has also been one of the highest grossers for Boney Kapoor.

The original saw Anil Kapoor and Sridevi in the lead, and based on sources close to the production house, the two will play the same characters in the sequel as well. But given the movie will have a generation leap, Arjun Kapoor could very well be the new 'Mr. India'.

While Arjun is the strongest contender for his dad's production which will be directed by Shekhar Kapur, who also directed the original, it would be interesting to see who plays the new 'Hawa Hawaii' girl.
