A.R.Rahman's written apology to Bhushan Kumar

30th September 2015

On the occasion of music label T-series completing 30 years, a special show was organised by Bhushan Kumar, owner of the music label.

All the who's who of Bollywood made their presence at the event. However, Mozart of Madras, A. R. Rahman gave a miss to it, due to a fatwa issued against him few days ago.

Thus, he personally apologized to Bhushan and sent a letter to the team asking them to carry on the show despite his absence.

A source stated, "Rahman sir was supposed to perform at the concert, but couldn't because of the recent controversy. He has personally apologised to Bhushan Kumar (T-Series chief) and had also sent a letter to the team saying he didn't want the show to be disrupted because of him."

Bhushan said, "Rahman sir tried his best to come, but the situation was unavoidable."
