India's global icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been a newsmaker both on national and international turf. 

Hence, when she made her annual appurtenance on the Cannes red carpet this year, she got humongous attention. 

This triggered an idea in director Sanjay Gupta's mind who helms her comeback film, 'Jazbaa'. 

The team has now planned to release the film's first look at the festival next year. 

The talked about film is a remake of a renowned international hit and hence it would be apt to release the film's first look at an international film festival. 

Sanjay has already worked out a schedule so that he can match with the Cannes deadline that he has set for himself. 

The shooting will start in January next year and hence by the time Cannes 2015 rolls out, the first look - including the teaser and official poster will be ready.

The last time Ash promoted her film at Cannes was way back in 2002 when 'Devdas' was screened. 

Film's director Sanjay Leela Bhansali and lead star Shah Rukh Khan made an appearance along with Ash back then.
